Job Goal: Somerville High is continuing a summer program for students to recover credit. The summer program will provide a positive and cooperative learning environment which will address student academic needs as well as their social emotional needs addressed in their IEPs. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with middle and/or high school curriculum, instruction and assessment practices Massachusetts License in subject specific area A strong ability to work with students of varying levels Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for students Strong organizational and effective communication skills Terms of Employment: Seasonal/Yearly Employment Location: Somerville High School $35 per hour worked Mandatory Orientation and Professional Development Days: TBD Program Schedule: Monday through Friday Start Date: July 8, 2023 End Date: August 2, 2023 Hours: 8:00am - 1:00pm Disclosure: All positions listed are subject to funding availability and student enrollment; courses may be canceled due to lack of enrollment.
