Job Description

Join a dynamic, rapidly growing professional services company in Irvine as their new Accounting Supervisor! This newly created role is will report to the VP, Finance and will be responsible for facilitating the overall accounting activities for accurate month end close and reporting.

What You Will Do:

• Ensure maintenance of accurate and complete financial records, in compliance US GAAP
• Oversee all accounting activities for month end close
• Supervise an assigned team of accountants
• Meet corporate financial reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner
• Review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Coordinate the quarterly and year-end reviews with the auditors
• Prepare accounts reconciliation for revenue, commissions, accrued payroll costs and other accounting areas.
• Review subsidiary ledgers and other financial and accounting records.
• Support the operations department with monthly commissions calculations and Ad-hoc financial tasks.
• Assist in pushing compliance within the finance function, enforce collaboration and accountability across all departments
• Assist with finance Ad-Hoc assignments as needed
• Assist in developing internal controls for all accounting processes

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 4+ years of experience is required
• Experience at a public accounting firm is required - BIG4 or Mid-Tier preferred
• Professional services industry is a big plus
• CPA is highly preferred
• High proficiency in Excel
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

What We Offer

Compensation up to $150,000 + bonus + an excellent benefit package
