The Trust and Safety team plays a pivotal role in meeting this goal by collaborating with product and other cross functional teams to ensure our customers enjoy the safest, most trusted products and services. The Trust and Safety team spans strategy, policy, safety analysis, engineering, operations and research, while supporting all parts of the Apple ecosystem.
We are looking for a collaborative, strategic-minded product manager, to work with our cross functional teams to collectively hone strategies, plans and requirements that continually make our products better. The ideal candidate brings a passion for great products, a deep understanding of trust and safety issues and a belief that multi-disciplinary collaborative product development is critical for building great user experiences. This product manager should be an excellent communicator experienced in championing big ideas while also being able to dive into fine details. Lastly, but perhaps more important this product manager should be passionate about creating safe and trustworthy products that fulfill Apple’s mission!
Description
This role will:
- Collaborate with a complex set of collaborators to develop and champion strategy, plans and roadmaps
- Focus on a diversity of trust and safety domains, including child and interpersonal safety
- Ensure the project vision, customer and business goals are translated into requirements that the project team understands and exceeds
- Work with safety analysts, legal, government affairs, policy, product managers on other teams, design, and engineering to identify safety opportunities, risks and solutions
- Create systems for measuring the impact of the Trust and Safety team
- Work with legal and government affairs on regulatory initiatives
- Collaborate with other Trust and Safety teams to build and evolve shared trust and safety services
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years in a product management role
- 5+ years in a trust and safety focused role
- Ability to launch premier, large scale products and features
- Extensive experience working collaboratively to balance customer, business, legal and technology perspectives
- Ability to create compelling presentations and communicate complex concepts in simple ways

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
