APPLICATION SYS PROG ANALYST I

This is a permanent Full Time position (with benefits and pension), requiring an on-site work presence:

Position Qualifications / Requirements

Mainframe analyst/coder for production support and enhancement of legacy financial systems.

Required

• IBM Mainframe Z/OS
• COBOL

• JCL/IBM Utilities (SYNCSORT, IDCAMS etc)

• MS Office
• Word, Excel, TEAMS, Flowcharting

9. Highly committed to ensuring accurate and comprehensive testing. Demonstrated ability to logically develop Unit, End-to-End, QA, and UAT test matrices and scripts.
10. Skilled in reading and understanding complex functional and technical documents and asking relevant questions when needed.
11. Proficient in clearly conveying complex concepts both verbally and inwriting, with the ability to translate technical ideas into business-friendly language.
12. Experienced in researching IT systems and interviewing business associates to identify requirements, create process flow documentation, and develop options for best practices.

Job Qualifications

4 years experience in computer system design and computer programming using the applicable computer languages,

or

complete IT professional certification or training program in programming/development in computer science,

or

Bachelor's degree in information technology and 2 years experience in computer system design and computer programming using the applicable computer languages

Technical (Preferred/Required Skills/Systems):

• IBM MAINFRAME Z/OS * required *

Compensation starting at 63k annually, flexible (up to 40% or more) based on experience, education, resume, interview and fit.
