Position Summary:
KITH is seeking a self-motivated, detail oriented Assistant Technical Designer for a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a driven, team player that will help the Technical Design Manager with daily tasks and delegated projects.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide overall support to the Technical Design manager by executing and implementing consistent size, fit and construction standards while working cross functionally with the design, product development, production and merchandising teams
- Assist in managing the product life cycle from sketch through pre-production and production samples

- Work closely with Design Team to update measurements and specifications for the tech pack
- Review and evaluate samples for spec, pattern corrections where needed, and construction changes
- Communication with overseas offices and vendors to identify and resolve issues with garment development/production
- Prepare for and assist during fit sessions and ensure comments and revisions are being tracked accordingly
- Track and follow up on pending fit and pre-production

Experience:

•0-2 Years of experience in Technical Designer, kids experience a plus

•Bachelor's Degree in Technical Design/ or equivalent work experience in but not limited to pattern making, design, apparel manufacturing

Skills:

•Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills with attention to detail
•Experience with product development applications (Adobe Illustrator and PLM)
•Proficient with outlook, word and excel
