Our client, a long-standing Wall Street law firm, who counts among their clients a “who’s who” of big banks and financial institutions, is seeking a Banking and Finance Associate with 2-to-5 years of experience, in a large Banking and Finance practice. This is a foundational career opportunity for a driven, resourceful Associate to work closely with clients of the firm and internal stakeholders very closely as this position has high growth potential.
The Associate must have superior written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience drafting and reviewing loan documents, including credit agreements and collateral documents, in a highly structured middle market, asset-based lending, acquisition, and real estate finance transactions. In addition, representation of banks as an administrative agent is considered preferred.
Although Bankruptcy experience is not required, it would be considered a plus. 2-to-5 years of lending experience, primarily representing banks and other financial institutions, required. Licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey bar admission a plus. Compensation includes salary ($160K-$200K+) plus bonus and robust benefits package. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail are required, as is professional demeanor with excellent judgment and willingness to take initiative.
