Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Bilingual Human Resources/Safety Manager to join our team at Steves & Sons, a leading manufacturer of interior and exterior doors. This role will partner with Plant Leadership and employees to develop and deliver the people strategy and business solutions, while creating a high-performance culture that emphasizes employee engagement, quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with employees and management to communicate HR and Payroll policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
- Serve as a change agent within the Plant leadership team, building and executing change plans
- Ensure HR and Safety compliance with policies, procedures, and reporting
- Develop and implement Safety inspection policies, procedures, and schedules
- Conduct facility inspections to identify safety, health, and environmental risks
- Manage Incident and Injury cases
- Develop Compensation and benefit plans to meet facility objectives
- Provide Coaching for Plant leadership, onboarding, performance, and career development
- Facilitate strategic people moves

Compensation:
- $72,000/year
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Safety knowledge and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
- Prior experience handling sensitive/confidential information
- Bilingual: fluent in Spanish and English
