Job Description
•Accurately and efficiently process all claims for services provided by Company's providers.
•Prepare and submit electronic or paper claims to insurance companies, ensuring compliance with billing regulations and guidelines.
•Review and resolve claim rejections, denials, and discrepancies by investigating and correcting billing inaccuracies or errors.
•Follow up on unpaid claims and outstanding balances, contacting insurance companies, patients, or third-party payers to facilitate payment resolution.
•Monitor patient statements and invoices for outstanding balances providing clear and accurate explanations of charges and payment options.
•Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to address billing inquiries, resolve billing issues, and streamline billing processes.
•Update patient accounts and billing records with accurate and complete information, including payments, refunds, or adjustments.
•Generate reports and analyze billing data on (KPIs) such as billing volume, submission timelines, insurance rates, and updates, claim acceptance rates, and other data-driven insights to track billing trends, identify areas for improvement, and optimize revenue cycle management.
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare billing regulations, coding guidelines, and insurance policies to ensure compliance and maximize reimbursement.
•Support a positive and collaborative work environment.

Skill Set
•Strong understanding of behavioral health CPT procedure codes and ICD-10 diagnoses •3+ years experience as a medical biller or medical billing specialist in a healthcare setting. •Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems. •Strong knowledge of medical billing and coding principles, procedures, and regulations. •Familiarity with healthcare insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance. •Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. •Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. •Effective communication and interpersonal skills. •Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. •Unwavering commitment to patient-centered care, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
