This position is in Salem, OR. You must live in or be willing to relocate to the Salem area to be considered.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Blown-In Insulation Tech to join our team. As a Blown-In Insulation Tech, you will play a crucial role in installing blown-in insulation materials to enhance energy efficiency and thermal comfort in residential and commercial buildings. Your attention to detail, physical stamina, and commitment to safety will contribute to the success of our insulation projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation of Blown-In Insulation: Execute the proper installation of blown-in insulation materials in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Preparation of Work Area: Prepare the work area by covering surfaces and ensuring proper ventilation to maintain a safe and clean environment for insulation installation.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up insulation blowing machines and other necessary equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition and calibrated accurately.
  • Material Handling: Handle insulation materials safely and efficiently, including loading materials into the blowing machine and transporting materials to the work area.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of insulation installation to ensure even coverage and proper density, making adjustments as necessary to achieve optimal results.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries during insulation installation, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including supervisors and fellow laborers, to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Cleanup and Maintenance: Clean up work areas after insulation installation, disposing of waste materials properly, and perform routine maintenance on equipment to keep it in good working condition.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Prior experience in insulation installation or construction-related field is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods, while maintaining a high level of physical stamina and endurance.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and precision in performing insulation installation tasks to achieve optimal results.
  • Safety Consciousness: Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
