Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Telehealth Nurse Supervisor to lead a team providing 24/7 triage services, self-care advice, and general health support. In this role, you'll guide a team of registered nurses, ensuring they deliver exceptional care and service to military health system (MHS) beneficiaries. Your responsibilities will include overseeing provider locator services, military treatment facility appointment scheduling, urgent care referrals, and facilitating smooth patient transfers. We're looking for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for healthcare, and extensive experience in supervisory roles within call centers or telehealth settings.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time: 40 hours/week (Monday through Friday, daytime hours)
On-call availability is required
Remote: This position is open to candidates residing in any U.S. state or Washington, D.C.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with healthcare providers, nurses, customer service associates, and other team members using telehealth and remote communication tools
Identify opportunities for enhancing care quality and improving operational processes
Perform audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
Thrive in a remote, virtual team environment
Leverage your expertise in electronic medical records (EMR) to assist nursing staff and patients
Provide guidance to nursing staff and patients, adhering to established telehealth protocols and capabilities
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical practice, with expertise in telehealth, nurse advice lines, or remote consultations
Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or another field related to telehealth and clinical advice)
Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or Washington, D.C.
Ability to pass necessary credentialing and background checks as required by the contracting office
U.S. Citizenship is required
This position is contingent upon contract award, client approval, a favorable background investigation, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust / High Risk clearance.
