We are a thriving company with multiple divisions, each with its own unique financial needs. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Business Bookkeeper to oversee and manage the accounting operations across all our divisions. This role is integral to maintaining the financial health and accuracy of our organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations for all company divisions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and inventory across all divisions.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports for each division.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations and filings.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across divisions.
- Collaborate with division managers to understand their financial goals and provide expert advice on optimizing financial processes.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for each division.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure best practices are applied.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within a company with multiple divisions.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple financial operations simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial information to division managers in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
