Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, build and maintain client relationships, and enhance our market position within the warehousing and furniture sales sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation and logistics, with a proven track record of success in business development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve company sales targets and expand market share.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the warehousing and furniture sales sectors.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
* Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
* Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure goals are met.
Qualifications :
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the transportation and logistics industry.
* Proven track record of success in warehousing and furniture sales.
* Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and warehousing operations.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
