Job Title: Certified Billing & Coding Specialist
Location: Englewood, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm)

Are you an experienced Certified Billing & Coding Specialist with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for ensuring accurate billing? Do you have specialized experience coding for Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC), as well as orthopedic and spine procedures? As a Certified Billing & Coding Specialist at Progressive Spine & Orthopaedics, you will play a vital role in the accurate coding and timely billing of orthopedic and spine procedures. Your expertise in ASC and specialty coding will ensure that our practice continues to thrive and deliver excellent care to our patients.

What You’ll Do:

• Accurately code for ASC , orthopedic , and spine procedures using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
• Review clinical documentation to ensure correct coding for accurate billing.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure coding accuracy for orthopedic and spine specialties.
• Stay current on coding updates and payer-specific requirements.
• Resolve coding discrepancies and assist the billing department as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• AAPC certification in medical billing and coding required.
• At least 2 years of experience coding for orthopedic and spine procedures.
• Experience coding for ASC procedures preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and procedures related to orthopedics and spine .
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
