Job Description

Seeking Construction Interior Superintendent in Aventura, Florida with Multi Family experience.

Duties:

• Responsible for the daily operations of the project, including scheduling and coordination of material, tools, equipment, safety accessories, subcontractors and field personnel relative to the specific construction phase
• Responsible for implementation of contract documents and achievement of quality, schedule, and safety and budget requirements.
• Ensures costs, crew and use of equipment achieves project and company standards.
• Assist the general superintendent in scheduling of subcontractors and materials.
• Assist Superintendent in overseeing each stage of project
• Communicate daily and weekly with the Superintendent Project Manager to keep the managers apprised of progress of project and associated issues or problems that may affect progress.
• Ensure the project is being built in accordance with the approved plans, 3rd party consultant recommendation’s, and or industry standards.
• Monitor the day to day activities of the subcontractor on site, paying close attention to trade progress in the buildings.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years experience in Multi-Family - Hi density projects

• Knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, construction procedures, estimating, and scheduling practices.

• A demonstrated understanding of construction means and methods associated with the construction of multi-family projects

• A working knowledge of civil, architectural, mechanical and electrical work

• The ability to effectively communicate both in the English written and spoken word

• Proficiency with spreadsheets, Email and other software used in the construction industry
