LOOKING FOR PSYCHIATRIC RN's IN PHOENIX, AZ!
We are searching for a sharp-eyed psychiatric nurse to tend to psychiatric cases in the correctional facilities in Phoenix, Arizona. We are in search of someone who is flexible, and able to learn the job at different locations if needed. You're able to pick up the shifts that work best for you each week, or you're able to create a schedule for yourself weekly.

A psychiatric nurse should co-create evidence-based protocols, administer prescribed treatment, and report on prominent deviations in patients' symptomology.

Schedule: This position offers a PRN schedule where you are able to choose the days you'd like to work, allowing this position to work around your already busy life. You can work as many or as few days as you'd like and choose a schedule that fits your needs. You can work 1 day a week, or you can work all 7 days a week.


Responsibilities

• Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
• Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them to physicians
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients' charts
• Adjust and administer patient's medication and provide treatments according to physician's orders
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.

RN Requirements and Credentials:

• Level 1 fingerprint clearance card
• AZ license
• CPR card
• TB skin test
