Job Description

We are excited to invite passionate individuals to apply for the role of Remote Student Financial Advisor. In this position, you will guide college students through the FAFSA (Federal Student Aid) process and provide essential advice on student loans.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in a comprehensive 30-day training program.
Handle inbound and outbound calls with students.
Review FAFSA application statuses and reach out to students to assist them in gathering necessary documentation.
Support students who have recently enrolled by providing clear and detailed instructions to help them navigate the FAFSA process.
Foster a welcoming environment, ensuring students feel comfortable and supported throughout their journey.
Performance Metrics:

Number of inbound/outbound calls
File quality and completion percentage
Time spent "unavailable" in the inbound queue
Work Schedule:

East Coast hours after training
Monday to Friday with the following shifts:
Two days a week from 9 AM to 6 PM EST
One day a week from 10 AM to 7 PM EST
One day a week from 11 AM to 8 PM EST
Fridays from 8 AM to 5 PM EST
One weekend every four weeks, with shifts on:
Saturday: 9 AM to 6 PM EST
Sunday: 12 PM to 7 PM EST
Days off will be Friday and Monday when a weekend is worked.
