As a Data Engineer, you will work with our technology team to build and maintain our suite of data pipelines, stores, and access tools that power sophisticated marketing products used by many of the worlds largest advertisers. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines for reporting, using advanced ETL tools.
  • Oversee the continuous improvement of the data warehouse for optimal scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Lead the development of a self-service data platform, utilizing Databricks for intuitive data visualization tools, empowering business users in decision-making.
  • Utilize tools such as Databricks, AWS EMR to design and develop intuitive analytics solutions for data warehousing & big data processing.
  • Establish scalable, automated processes for data analysis. Streamline reporting and analysis to enhance self-service capabilities for internal stakeholders.
  • Create key metric dashboards for leadership and derive actionable insights from usage data to inform strategic decisions and promote customer success.
  • Integrate the latest AWS/Azure technologies to improve operational efficiency. Define and monitor metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure that data architecture and pipelines effectively support ML and analytics needs.


WHAT SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE WILL YOU BRING?
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS or other technical, science, or math fields
  • 3+ years of experience as a data or software engineer
  • Extensive experience with SQL, with ability to design and optimize objects and code
  • Demonstrated experience with at least one relational database technology such as Redshift, Oracle, MySQL or MS SQL
  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
  • Proven experience with BI data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Quicksight
  • Ability to complete projects timely, accurately and with strong attention to detail, with continuous communication of progress updates to stakeholders
  • Coding proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Ruby, Java, etc)
  • Basic command line and source control knowledge
  • Willingness to learn and utilize emerging technologies
  • Outstanding work ethic and drive
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Spark & Structured Streaming, Databricks, AdTech
