Overview

Position Overview:

Explore the horticulture and the evolving landscape industry. Assisting design, while gaining hands on experience in learning the role of a landscape designer. Utilizing various software and 3D models to complete the design process. Understanding and learning hardscape and softscape material and installation to create design and estimate solutions. While providing innovative creative ideas to contribute to designing a space for our customers visions.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Working collaboratively with sales/ design for the completion of the design process.
  • Proactively maintain design duties; measure sites, establish grades, prepare plans, and specifications, unique to the project.
  • Provide measuring and basemaping support, while learning the fundamentals of design.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and detail while assisting with measuring.
  • Prepare plans for Residential properties.
  • Use various software to aid in the design process; outlook, teams, AutoCAD, keys cape, UVision, photo shop, and InDesign.
  • Gain knowledge on products and installation of hardscape and softscape included by not limited to; paver products, Iv lighting, perennials, trees, shrubs, ect.
  • Responsible for design estimate process, utilizing Asset software.
  • Creating 3D models and presentation material for design presentations.
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned or needed.
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Navigating and utilizing Asset modules CX and PM.
  • Maintain project timeline and preparing designs in a timely manner to ensure preparation for production schedule.
  • Organizing and adhering to measuring schedule.
  • Consulting with supervisor and sales consultants on material and site concerns and additional duties.
Qualifications:
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Exceptional landscape design skills
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, LandCAD and proficient with computers
  • 1-3 years of Landscape Architect/Design experience
  • Keen understanding of the Landscape industry
Education:

Bachelor's Degree in landscape architecture or equivalent.

License/ Certification:
  • Valid Driver's License
Personal Characteristics Profile:

Must be a active learner, work well independently and a part of a team. Must be self-motivated, be able to make accurate and timely decisions daily. Have a good understanding of horticultural and architectural practice. Excellent communication skills and professionalism.

Physical Requirements:

Sitting for prolonged periods from 4 or more hours. Twisting or bending for 2 hours or more.
