Primary Purpose: As part of the Talent acquisition leadership team, the Director of Talent Acquisition will partner to lead Parklands talent acquisition efforts and drive our recruitment strategy to attract, hire, and retain top talent. This leader will be expected to develop and execute innovative talent acquisition strategies, managing a high-performing recruitment team, and collaborate with senior leadership to align recruitment efforts with business goals. The Director of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for partnering to oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, enhancing employer branding, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Minimum Specifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.

Experience: 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in developing and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies. Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS software.

Certification/Registration/Licensure: A talent acquisition or human resources certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning : Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with the hospital system's objectives, budget, and workforce requirements.
  • Recruitment Process Management: Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including job profiling, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Talent Pipelining : Proactively build and maintain diverse talent pipelines for critical positions, utilizing innovative sourcing techniques, networking, and partnerships with educational institutions and professional organizations while championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the recruitment process.
  • Employer Branding : Enhance the hospital system's employer brand and value proposition to attract top talent, utilizing marketing initiatives, social media, employer branding campaigns, and participation in industry events.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting : Utilize data analytics and metrics to assess recruitment effectiveness, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, vendors, and partners, negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with departmental leaders, HR partners, and executive management to understand talent needs, provide strategic guidance, effectively implement targeted outreach and recruiting strategies ensuring alignment between talent acquisition and organizational objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition, implementing innovative approaches to optimize recruitment processes and enhance candidate quality.

 

Position has oversight for Corporate/Executive and Provider/Physician Recruitment, Strategic Sourcing, and Workforce Development with up to 6 direct reports (13 indirect to include a manager and staff level talent acquisition advisors) and serves as a peer to the Director, Talent Acquisition who oversees Hospital Recruiting. This position reports directly to the SVP & Chief Workforce Officer.
