DESCRIPTION:
As a member of our top-performing sales team, the primary responsibility of the sales consultant is
to promote and sell products, provide service to clients. Candidates must be proven self-starters,
with an entrepreneurial spirit - who have a strong desire to succeed and to achieve goals in a timely
manner.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and contact salons through cold calling efforts and referrals
- Maintain working relationships with new and existing accounts
- Respond to client inquiries, provide ongoing communication with clients and prospects,
and manage clients/prospects throughout the sales cycle
- Cultivate new relationships, and deepen existing relationships
- Serve as inside resource for industry and product information by developing strong
knowledge of our products, the competition, the clients, and the marketplace
- Coordinate biweekly meeting schedule with clients
- Arrange and coordinate educational events
- Process and maintain purchase orders for the region as well as other administrative
duties
REQUIREMENTS:
- Highly motivated self-starter: Enthusiasm for the beauty industry, a positive attitude,
and a drive to succeed are essential to this role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven results and demonstrated sustainable success in a competitive sales
environment
- Excellent ability to build relationships within our team, across our organization, and with
our clients
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to learn and demonstrate industry and product knowledge and make client
presentations
- Prior experience in sales or salon industry preferred
- Available for travel to attend quarterly sales meetings / vendor updates, educational
events, and training, etc.
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to setup and execute business as an LLC
- Maintain an Umbrella Insurance Policy
