The Headlines: The Brewery is in Albany, GA which is a Union facility. We are recruiting experienced industrial electricians at our facility who is available to work 2nd (3pm-11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm-7am), including overtime, weekend and/or holidays if needed.
The starting salary is $34.80, which increases once you complete your 6-month probationary period. Healthcare benefits start after 90 days from your date of hire.
We are offering a $5,000 sign on bonus for this position. Responsibilities: - Implement preventative maintenance tasks as well as the ability to perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities on equipment as necessary
- Ensure the maximum efficiency of the operation while maintaining compliance with e stablished safety, quality, material usage, sanitation, budget, and scheduling guidelines in line with World Class Supply Chain Strategy
- Possess interpersonal skill to function effectively within the assigned team
- Demonstrate impeccable attendance while working in an environment of varying temperature extremes; able to perform frequent physical activity in the form of lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, etc. and capable of frequently lifting and carrying 50 lbs.
Qualifications: - You have a High School diploma; post high school education or technical training is a plus
- You have experience working with high-speed packaging equipment, Modicon, PLC troubleshooting and programming, Wonderware, instrumentation, and hardware, including VFDs, motor starters, circuit breakers, HMIs, photo-eyes, solenoids, limit switches, proxies, selector switches, etc.
- Repair, replace and install sensors, actuators, transformers, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, electric eyes, conduit systems, switches, defective writing, etc.
- Troubleshoot, repair, replace PLC's, Servo and Frequency Drives and related electronic hardware
- Use blueprints and wiring diagrams to plan and execute electrical repairs and installations
- Provide technical expertise to train and support production and create an environment of continuous learning
