Job Description

As an Entry Level Communications Specialist, you will work closely with our communications team to support various event marketing projects and initiatives. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our events and make a meaningful impact on behalf of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of communications strategies to promote our clients' events and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients to gather information and insights for communication projects.
  • Monitor media coverage and social media mentions related to our clients' events, and track key metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of promotional campaigns
  • Respond to media inquiries and requests for information related to our clients' events in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain media lists, contact databases, and other communication assets for our clients' events.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in event marketing and communications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or event planning is a plus but not required.
  • Passion for event marketing and creating engaging experiences for audiences.
