We are looking for an Network Cable / Low Voltage Electrician / Fiber Cabling Technician to provide remedial support, on occasion, for our customers in this area.

This is a perfect opportunity for Fiber Cabling Technician looking to augment their work, business, or freelance income on an on-going permanent part-time basis. Some weekday scheduling availability is a must.

You should be well prepared to do your job with all safety precautions, as well as experienced in different kinds of electrical devices and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic systems.
• May create sensors and perform optical inspections.
• Measure signal strength to ensure adequate performance.
• Run fiber optic cables underground or underwater, and perform premises cabling.
• Conduct regular inspections of fiber optic systems, and locate and repair defects.

Technology Requirements

• 3+ years' experience of working on Network Cable / Low Voltage Electrician / Fiber Cabling
• Significant experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
• Significant experience with various electrical and hand tools, including wire strippers, voltmeter and so on, as well as electrical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Valid license to practice profession
