Job Description

Summary:

Newly-funded seed startup (valued $100M+) is looking to hire a Founding AI Engineer. Our target profile will have 5+ years industry experience as Back-End/Infra/ML Ops Engineer with 1+ years hands-on engineering experience in Generative AI production environments (e.g., RAG, few-shot examples, fine tuning, prompt tuning, agentic workflows, LLM evals, etc.) with demonstrated skills in the following core responsibilities:

• Applying LLMs as reasoning engines to domain-specific problems to provide value to a customer
• Evaluating and improving end-to end accuracy and latency of AI agents
• Creating and enhancing prompts, incorporating best practices
• Building and maintaining systems that handle passing data between LLMs and databases
• Optimizing LLM call spend and performance
