We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Freelance Web Developer to bring our clients’ digital visions to life. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining websites that are not only visually appealing but also high-performing and user-friendly. If you have strong expertise in Webflow and WordPress, with the ability to create custom code and implement web animations using tools like GSAP, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites using Webflow and WordPress, ensuring high performance and user experience across all devices.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to enhance functionality and interactivity.
• Implement web animations using GSAP to create engaging and dynamic user experiences.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other team members to translate concepts into fully functional, visually appealing websites.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and best practices to bring innovation to our projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and client expectations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Web Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in Webflow and WordPress.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with custom coding.
• Expertise in creating interactive web animations using GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform).
• Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and plugins into websites.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA.

Preferred:

• Local candidates in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, are strongly preferred, as we value working with developers who understand the local market and culture.
• Experience in SEO optimization and website performance enhancement is a plus.
