Job Description : Bucktown family of four seeking a dependable and experienced Nanny for twin infants! Start February 2025.
Compensation : $25-$30/hr. + vacation, holidays, and PTO.
Schedule : Guaranteed 45 hours a week. Monday-Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm, with some Friday’s potentially being shorter/flexible depending on parent’s work schedules.
Job Details and Responsibilities:

• Primary care is for twins, 5-months-old.
• Responsibilities include all care of the children: feeding (bottles and switching to solids when age appropriate), monitoring and facilitating naps, bathing, if needed, developmentally appropriate play with the children, assisting with milestones, changing diapers.
• Light housekeeping includes tidying and organizing toys, washing/sterilizing bottles, and children’s laundry.
• Nanny should actively engage with the children in fun, yet developmental, activities, both inside and out of doors. Should be willing to participate in play and activities with the children (ex: playing on the floor, active supervision at the playground, etc.).
• Nanny should be well-versed and knowledgeable about creating healthy sleep routines, transitioning to solid foods, and child development.
• Family has one dog and Nanny should be comfortable with pets. No care is required.

Qualifications:

• Nanny should have extensive verifiable experience working with infants. Should be knowledgeable of infant care and safety.
• Nanny should be warm and caring. Will be able to foster a positive relationship with the child and the family and work as a team.
• Nanny should be self-sufficient. Will be able to plan activities and keep track of children’s needs. Nanny should be pro-active about completing tasks.
• Reliable and communicative. Able to communicate well and be receptive to feedback.
• Flu, and TDAP vaccinations are required.
