Seeking General Manager for a Scenic Rural Virginia Boutique Hotel

A beautiful rural Virginia boutique hotel seeks an experienced hospitality professional or couple to lead its operations.

Boutique Hotel General Manager Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hospitality management for properties with more than 10 rooms, with a focus on sales, marketing, and operations .
  • Expertise in event sales and management, including the ability to plan, sell, and execute successful events that enhance guest experiences and drive revenue.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team collaboration , leading staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations across all departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
  • Facilities management experience, including overseeing property upkeep, landscaping, and general maintenance; for couples, one partner must have maintenance or facilities management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies that drive guest bookings, elevate the hotel’s brand presence, and improve overall business performance.
  • A guest-first mindset with the ability to ensure exceptional service from arrival to departure, creating a welcoming and memorable guest experience.
  • A degree in hospitality managemen t, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
