Job Title:  Part Time Professional Housekeeper

Location: Far Hills, NJ

Position Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced and professional housekeeper to manage the full cleaning and housekeeping duties for our 15,000 sq ft home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining larger properties and demonstrate a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and common sense. We are empty nesters, with 2 small dogs and 2 adult children who are home in the summers. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete cleaning and maintenance of the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchen, and other spaces.
• Prioritize cleaning tasks to ensure all areas are maintained appropriately and efficiently.
• Use proper cleaning products and techniques for various surfaces to prevent damage.
• Iron sheets and provide attentive care to laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and storing.
• Handle household appliances and tools carefully, ensuring no damage to walls, furniture, or other home features.
• Monitor household supplies, make lists for needed items, and take the initiative to restock as necessary.
• Suggest improvements for better organization and efficiency within the home.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a housekeeper in large homes.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in using cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed.
• Respectful of privacy and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Non-disruptive and not overly chatty while performing duties.
• Must love dogs and be comfortable around pets.
