Job Description

The Role - In a Nutshell

Looking for your next adventure in HR? Join our team as an HR Coordinator supporting the FULL employee lifecycle in our Berkeley office! This is an ON-SITE, TEMPORARY but FULL-TIME position where you'll be the go-to person for all things HR admin. Starting as early as next week, you'll dive into a role that offers great experience across the HR spectrum.

What You'll Do

  • Be the HR department's interview scheduling guru – coordinating candidates, hiring managers, and reference checks with finesse
  • Own the onboarding process from offer acceptance to day one orientation (a MAJOR focus of this role!)
  • Tackle benefits administration (enrollments, changes, terminations) like a pro
  • Rock the data entry world – setting up employee profiles in our HRIS and payroll systems
  • Play detective with monthly invoice reconciliation and audits
  • Travel occasionally to our different sites to support employees (driver's license required!)
  • Create and run reports that make everyone's life easier
  • Coordinate health and safety initiatives that keep our team thriving

What We're Looking For

  • A detail-oriented HR enthusiast with at least one year of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (but equivalent experience works too!)
  • Experience with Paycom or BambooHR is a big plus!
  • Tech-savvy individual who can quickly learn our systems
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, sometimes challenging environment
  • A compassionate professional who values dignity, respect, and diversity
  • Driver with reliable transportation for occasional local travel (10-20%)
  • Microsoft 365 skills that would make Bill Gates proud
  • PHR/SHRM-CP credential is a plus!

The Details

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (Berkeley location ONLY)
  • Starting: As early as next week!
  • Pay: $27.50-$30.00 hourly, depending on experience
  • Classification: Non-exempt, TEMPORARY position
