An HR Specialist plays a vital role in supporting key human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations. They ensure compliance with labor laws while maintaining accurate HR records and providing day-to-day support to employees and managers. With strong organizational and communication skills, HR Specialists help create a positive and productive workplace culture.

Job Functions

• Support full-cycle recruitment efforts: job postings, screening, scheduling, and onboarding
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
• Assist in administering benefits, leave, and company policies
• Provide frontline support for employee relations inquiries, escalating complex issues as needed
• Ensure HR processes are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations
• Participate in performance management and employee engagement initiatives
• Assist with training coordination, reporting, and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in HR or related administrative role
• Working knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS systems
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
