Job Summary

The International Document Intern will gain hands-on experience navigating legal and regulatory processes necessary to make products sellable in countries around the world. This role is crucial in supporting Better Being Co.’s international product management team by coordinating and delivering documentation required for product changes, registrations, and approvals across global markets. This role involves managing documentation workflows, ensuring compliance, and regularly traveling around the Salt Lake City area to deliver, legalize, or apostille documents at government offices such as the Utah State Capitol. The intern will also assist with ad hoc projects and support the sales operations team as needed.

Essential Functions

Document Management and Coordination

  • Organize and manage document requests for international product registrations, approvals, and certifications.
  • Ensure all required documents are obtained, certified, and compliant with international regulations.
  • Drive to various locations, including the Utah State Capitol and other legal entities, to deliver, legalize, or apostille documents.
  • Collaborate with the product management team to align documentation with registration and launch timelines.
  • Track document statuses and coordinate communication with internal teams and external legal contacts.

Support for International Product Management

  • Assist with product label changes and manage associated documentation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all stakeholders review and approve required materials.
  • Contribute to additional product management tasks such as project tracking and timeline coordination.

Ad Hoc Support for Account Managers

  • Provide support by organizing documentation and certifications for international sales.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks that facilitate smooth sales operations and communication.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance document management processes for efficiency and reduced disruption.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in document coordination, project management, or product management.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder processes with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Skilled in coordinating and executing plans within defined timelines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other document management tools.
  • Strong written communication skills, including email correspondence and document tracking.
  • Comfortable learning and adapting to custom software systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to use hands and fingers to operate a keyboard, mouse, and other computer equipment.
  • Requires close visual acuity for activities such as reading, data analysis, proofreading, and comparing documents.
  • Must have the ability to drive to various locations in and around Salt Lake City for document-related tasks.
