Position Overview: As a Junior Logistics Analyst at Augmentjobs, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and managing our supply chain processes. You will support the logistics team by analyzing data, tracking shipments, and assisting with the implementation of logistics strategies. Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Collect and analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Reporting: Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, including shipment status, inventory levels, and supply chain metrics.
Coordination: Assist in coordinating shipments, including scheduling, tracking, and communicating with carriers and suppliers.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and work with the team to ensure timely replenishment and accurate stock records.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to shipment delays, inventory discrepancies, and other logistical challenges.
Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of logistics processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of logistics activities, including shipment documentation and inventory reports.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and address any logistical concerns.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related role. Internships or entry-level positions are acceptable.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and external partners.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling data and documentation.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with logistics software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel) is preferred.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to team goals and objectives.
Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
