We are seeking a talented Rental Agent to join our thriving team! The Rental Agent is responsible for creating and maintaining successful relationships with landlords and closing rental inquiries efficiently. Responsibilities

•Process contracts with tenants and collect security deposits to ensure the closing of the deal
•Become acquainted with client expectations of housing and finances and highlight properties that meet those expectations
•Advertise available properties using a variety of social media and promotional materials to help secure quick rentals of all properties
•Research local rental rates and calculate costs to determine fair and competitive pricing
•Show prospective tenants' properties and highlight the provided amenities to help ensure the rental contract
•Work with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting security deposits in order to close the deal
•Question prospective clients on their needs, wants, and available finances to find properties that fit these needs
•Research local rental rates and calculate costs to determine fair and competitive pricing
•Present properties and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants to help secure rental agreement
•Validate all personal references and rental application information

Qualifications

•Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Excel
•Past sales experience is preferred
•Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices
•Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
•Competent in Microsoft Office programs and willingness to learn new programs and systems
