Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

In this role, the Manufacturing Engineer must be adept at interpreting 2D drawings, as they will handle numerous small order quantities from Tier 1 suppliers. The successful candidate will identify opportunities through defense logistics agency and OEM web portals for solicitations. They are expected to devise a strategic approach for winning bids, which includes identifying selling points while understanding specific client requirements.

Hard Skills

• Ability to read 2D & 3D blueprints—mainly 2D
• Familiarity with Tier 1 supplier drawing specifications
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in NA, California and some days remote.

Work Environment

The work environment is a small, tight-knit, old-school setting. The new Manufacturing Engineer will work alongside another engineer who has been with the company for decades and will provide close oversight.
