Job Description: Are you a creative student or recent graduate who loves exploring how brands engage with their customers online via different channels? Do you enjoy mapping out customer journeys and designing curated marketing strategies both online and offline to targeted audiences? Do you like analyzing customer data, surveys and focus groups to improve customer experiences?

Reporting directly to Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving our award-winning business, enhancing brand equity, and leading our marketing initiatives to new heights.

We seek a college student or recent graduate with a passion for marketing, social media, and community engagement. You’ll gain valuable experience working directly with our leadership team, developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns, and expanding ScrubaDub’s digital and in-person brand presence. Outstanding interns may be considered for a full-time Marketing position.

Essential Duties Include:

Manage digital marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:

● Elevate Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with the Marketing Team on a wide-array of marketing campaigns targeting different audiences and customer profiles to bring creative ideas to life.

● Social Media & Content Creation: Manage ScrubaDub’s social media presence, including content creation (photos, videos, graphics), engagement, and follower growth. Experience with Canva, Hootsuite, and AirTable is a plus.

● Community Engagement & Events: Plan and execute on-site events, including grand openings and sports partnerships, to strengthen local connections.

● Reputation Management: Monitor and respond to customer reviews on Yelp, Google, Facebook, and other platforms. Maintain Google Business Profiles and analyze Customer Satisfaction Survey data.

● Marketing Strategy & Execution: Assist in developing print, radio, digital, social media, email, SMS, and PR campaigns, as well as in-store promotions and strategic partnerships.

● Coordination Support: Help keep marketing operations running smoothly with various administrative tasks. Must be able to lift heavy items, move boxes, assist with event setup and breakdown, and perform other physically demanding tasks as needed.

● Explore new cross-promotion opportunities with Director of Business Development.

● You will presenting key trends and insights to the Executive leadership team and coordinate with store management company-wide to ensure customer surveys are completed monthly.

This is an exciting opportunity where the Intern will have regular exposure to ScrubaDub senior management so strong communication skills are required. You will play a crucial role in both marketing and customer insights.

Candidates who apply should:  Be working towards a Bachelor's or Masters Degree in either Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field. You should be either a junior or senior at an accredited 4 year college/university, recent graduate, or working towards a Masters degree in this space. Experience working with customer engagement in person or online is a requirement. A car and valid driver’s license for travel to our stores and our Natick, MA corporate office is a requirement (Gasoline credit card will be provided). Knowledge of HooteSuite and HubSpot or other platforms for digital marketing campaign mgmt is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).

Compensation and Schedule:  This role requires 20-30 hours per week of work at a rate of $20 - $25 per hour depending on experience.
