About Us:

Integrative medicine Medical office is looking for full time biller position in our office.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented experienced in medical and laboratory billing specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and process claims accurate, post payments and send timely invoices for services rendered to clients.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding billing issues and discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve any billing discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
• Monitor and track outstanding invoices, proactively following up on overdue payments.
• Work closely with the finance team to assist in month-end closing activities and reporting.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to billing processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in billing, invoicing, or a related financial role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with billing software/systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry billing standards and regulations is a plus.

• Knowledge of basic charge entry and payment posting
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD 10 coding requirements
• Knowledge with commercial insurance, Medicaid and laboratory billing

Ideal candidate should have billing and coding experience; ability to communicate with insurance carriers, patient accounts receivable calls; very thorough, organized and detail oriented.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
