Job Description

Technician is responsible for the repair, refurbishment, failure analysis, and complaint investigations of medical infusion pump devices. This role requires a strong understanding of service operations, including root cause analysis and documentation of findings using Oracle and other quality systems. The technician may also assist in training new employees and support on-site repairs when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repair, rework, and refurbishment of infusion pumps
• Conduct Level 0 and Level 1 Product Complaint Investigations (PCI)
• Analyze returned devices to identify root causes and support yield improvements
• Ensure compliance with quality system regulations (e.g., cGMP)
• Accurately document all service and PCI activities
• Support out-of-box failure analysis and special engineering studies
• Collaborate with QA, Customer Service, and Engineering teams
• Train and mentor new team members as required
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required; A.S. degree in a technical field preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in high-tech manufacturing or service repair
• Proficient in Oracle and device tracking systems
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
• Knowledge of cGMP and quality compliance standards
