Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Records Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will assist with preparing, organizing, and maintaining patient medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance. You will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure that patient documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and organize patient medical records and charts for physician review.
Ensure compliance with medical record documentation requirements, including self-attestation of data entry.
Update patient history, physical exam details, and other relevant health information.
Review and send documentation to physicians for approval, following facility-specific procedures.
Monitor and track the completion of lab results and screenings.
Maintain strict adherence to healthcare policies, including HIPAA and Joint Commission standards.
Provide general administrative support to improve clinic workflow and provider productivity.
Demonstrate the ability to assess, review, and apply relevant medical criteria as necessary.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in customer service or healthcare is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Compassionate and empathetic attitude when interacting with patients and team members.
Comfortable working remotely with the following equipment:
Desktop/Laptop with at least an i3/Ryzen 3 processor and 8 GB of RAM
Webcam and noise-canceling headset
Minimum 30 Mbps internet speed
