In short, our Marketing Assistant and Operations teams aim to combine active listening skills and organizational processes to drive our departments toward their engagement and sales goals. Each Marketing Assistant gets equipped with the industry and client knowledge necessary for success through entry-level training on consumer preferences, sales, customer service, market trends, and business practices. As a Marketing Assistant, you will: - Promote products and services directly to consumers
- Establish genuine relationships to determine consumer needs and provide product recommendations designed to satisfy those needs
- Directly communicate services and products to customers to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Lead by example and eventually train entry-level Marketing Assistants on promotional strategies
- Provide exceptional product and customer service
- Manage in-field promotional marketing campaigns and close sales
- Assist in the development and implementation of the client's brand campaigns
- Further brand education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars
- Share best practices and local marketing ideas and tactics with the team Marketing Coordinator & Sales team

Requirements of the Marketing Assistant Position: - Work experience in the following industries is an asset but not required: Communications, Business administration, Management, Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Political Science, Sales, Psychology, Sports Management, and related fields
- Bachelor's degree or higher education in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Economics, or a related field
- Willingness to succeed and train in an entry-level marketing position
- Great communication skills and people skills
- Excellent work ethic and drive
- A positive business attitude like the rest of our client's enthusiastic staff
- You must be confident you'll be successful, just waiting for a career opportunity where you can prove yourself
This is a full-time, in-office position based in the Greater DC area. We are looking for candidates who are able to start immediately, so you must be local to the area.
