Advanced Polymer Coatings, Inc. of Avon, OH seeks Operations Research Analyst to Apply statistics and math to material and capacities data to create models to maintain an operation plan balancing supply and demand for product and sales operations; create basis for sales plans and detailed manufacturing schedules for production floor; level loaded, and optimizes capacity utilization and inventory; develop operational systems requirements, analyze data and manage technical service portal to create OBI inspection reports for management; participate in planning portal features, materials schedules and capacities, and information retrieval to facilitate operating reports available to Marine Sales, Technical Service Managers and Financial Managers; under the direction and supervision of the COO perform as a link between Sales & Marketing, Operations and Finance.
Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management with Bachelor’s degree (or foreign educational degree evaluated as equivalent to US bachelor’s degree) in Transportation Engineering or closely related field, plus Green Belt certification in Six Sigma methodology, Tableau Desktop Specialist certification, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, solid theoretical knowledge regarding business, operations management, and statistics principles and practice.
Work week: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM-5PM
