Part-Time Janitorial Safety and Quality Inspector

Job Summary:

The Janitorial Safety and Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting and evaluating the cleanliness, safety, and quality of janitorial services provided at various facilities. This part-time role involves conducting regular inspections, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring that all cleaning practices comply with company standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Inspections:
  • Conduct regular inspections of janitorial work to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Verify that cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly and stored safely.
  • Report any quality deficiencies to S&Q Manager thru reports.
• Safety Compliance:
  • Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure that janitorial staff are following safety protocols, such as wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), using proper uniform, and using equipment safely.
  • Report any safety violations or hazards to S&Q Manager thru reports and correct failed items on the spot as needed.
• Training & Guidance:
  • Provide feedback to Area Managers thru reports on areas needing improvement.
• Reporting:
  • Document inspection results and prepare reports for management.
  • Recommend improvements to cleaning processes, products, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience:
  • Previous experience in janitorial work, safety inspection, or quality control is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and safety regulations.
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to provide feedback and guidance.
  • Basic Computer Skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to janitorial services.

Working Conditions:

• Part-time position Monday – Friday 5:30pm – 10:30pm.
• May require extra hours depending on the facility's schedule and business needs.
• Work involves standing, walking, and occasionally lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
• Position can potentially become Full – Time.

Compensation:

• Hourly wage based on experience and qualifications.
