Job Specifications:

  • Licensed by the state(s) in which they practice.
  • Maintain the minimum required continuing education hours established by the state board of pharmacy.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment such as calculators, copy machines, and printers up to 100% of the time;
  • Regularly required to talk and hear to communicate effectively over the phone and in person;
  • Must be able to see 100% of the time to recognize medications, detect inaccuracies, and observe the work of others;
  • This position will require standing & walking; and may occasionally require bending, kneeling, and stooping;
  • Must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds, up to 10% of the time;
  • Must be able to tolerate normal office environment and exposure to various medications;
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
