Key Responsibilities:

• Manually Unload Parts: With a keen eye for safety, you'll carefully remove hot molded parts from the press, ensuring to press emergency stop buttons when necessary. Your commitment to safety is paramount; never reach into the press when it's in motion away from the yellow safety gate.
• Cut and Remove Flash: Precision is key as you skillfully cut excess plastic around molded parts, using safety equipment to protect yourself. Dispose of excess flash responsibly in the granulator.
• Finish Trimming: Take pride in your work as you meticulously trim remaining flash from hinges and latch areas, employing specialized tools for a flawless finish.
• Case Assembly and Finish Work: Your attention to detail shines as you assemble lids onto bases, install latches and handles, and operate various machinery for finishing touches.
• Inspect Finished Cases: Quality is non-negotiable. Conduct thorough visual inspections, identifying and addressing imperfections promptly. Your dedication ensures only top-notch products leave our facility.
• Package Cases: Efficiently pack finished cases into cartons, maintaining proper layout and orientation to uphold quality standards.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in plastics manufacturing or machine operation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift hours.
