Salary: $115,000 - $135,000 annually, based on experience
We are looking for a talented SCADA Developer/PLC Programmer to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing SCADA applications and PLC coding, focusing on various systems, including Control Room Human Machine Interface (HMI), Operator Interface Terminal (OIT), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), SCADA Historians, Databases, and Remote Alarm Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deploy HMI applications.
Create database solutions.
Program and deploy PLC systems.
Develop and deploy OIT applications.
Work on specialty applications.
Commission and troubleshoot systems effectively.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proficient in SQL query scripting and Python.
Experienced in PLC programming using GE Proficy for GE VersaMax, 90-30, and RX3i.
Skilled in OIT application development for Rockwell using FactoryTalkViewME.
Knowledgeable in calibrating and testing transmitters, switches, converters, recorders, indicators, actuated valves, and control loops connecting to PLC or DCS systems.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience in the oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
Familiar with PLC programming for Rockwell Logix5000 and Logix500.
Experience with SCADAPack and ROC800 programming.
Proficient in OIT application development and HMI Development using Wonderware System Platform (ArchestrA) 3.1 and InTouch 10.1.
Knowledge of wired and wireless Industrial Communications solutions.
Understanding of Electrical Design and Engineering.
Experience in the design, inter-connection, and configuration of PLCs and DCS systems.
Assist in planning as needed.
Ensure adequate data sheets and system documentation for all pre-commissioning and commissioning checks and tests.
Verify all test equipment is NIST Traceable and has a current calibration date.
Utilize industry standards for testing, such as ISA or other recognized and approved standards.
Complete Red lines and B check sheets as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Five years of experience as a FCO/Commissioning Technician in the oilfield is preferred.
Required Education, Training, and Certifications:
H2S certification or the ability to obtain it upon hire.

Automation / Commissioning Technician Specific Skillsets:
Comprehensive knowledge of control systems, equipment, and operational and mechanical systems, including installation, testing, maintenance, and repair.
Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Working knowledge of AC and DC control circuits.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
The physical demands of this job include regular communication, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and lifting. The incumbent must frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds. Visual acuity must be sufficient for performing tasks safely. The work environment may be loud, requiring hearing protection, and will often involve outdoor work in varying weather conditions. The role requires travel within the designated work area and exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment.
