Meyer Distributing is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Arlington, TX Information Technology Team as an Entry Level Project Coordinator . The ideal candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various IT projects within our organization. They will be responsible for a range of tasks, predominantly supporting the Project Manager in day-to-day job management and administration. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and development in the field of Project Management within the IT industry. Education/Certification(s):

• Bachelor's Degree or equal experience

Requirements for a Project Coordinator:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Understanding of and ability to navigate multiple file systems in Microsoft Windows environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong planning and problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
• Ability to learn and work with all functions and roles inside the Developer team.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Project Coordinator duties include but are not limited to:

• May perform general administrative support for a project and provide general support to visitors
• Assist in the development of project plans, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate project activities, resources, and information. Liaise with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project schedules, status updates, meeting minutes, and action items.
• Facilitate communication between project teams and management. Provide regular project updates and reports on progress, milestones, and key metrics.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Participate in post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for project activities
