Our Land Development Group has long-term core clients who are developing some of the most interesting and challenging projects in the state, including single and multi-family residential, commercial, mixed-use developments, educational and industrial. While applying technical, engineering knowledge and skills, this position will:

  • Be responsible for coordinating civil development service efforts with a team of Engineering, Planning and Survey leads including other in-house service groups.
  • Be able to self-perform design and lead design teams consisting of engineers, surveyors, designers, drafters, and planning support personnel when required.
  • Prepare and coordinate technical activities as well as peer review for Quality Control purposes.
  • Lead agency interaction or partner with planning and surveying for acquiring needed permits and approvals.
  • Communicate with clients, sub-consultants, contractors and others as required to complete projects.
  • Coordinate construction and work in the field as needed for development projects.
  • Participate in all phases of project development, planning, permitting, design, and construction.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, architects, planners, sub-consultants, and public agencies on projects.
  • Attend public meetings, public forums, and open houses to discuss project details and answer questions, as required.
  • Be responsible to develop and implement design solutions for various project applications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain one in Washington within 1-year of starting work)
  • 5-8 years of civil engineering design experience, specifically in land development related areas.
  • AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience is required.

Salary Range:

$90,000- $120,000 annually, Determined by experience.
