Hourly Pay Rate: $40/hr

Job Summary:

We are seeking a QA Manual Tester with 3-5 years of experience to join our team and ensure the quality of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing , experience working in Agile environments , and a keen eye for detail to identify and document defects effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases based on requirements and specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps .
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure compatibility.
• Validate API responses using tools like Postman (if applicable).
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Work closely with automation engineers to identify areas for automation improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and best practices .

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in manual testing for web and/or mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle .
• Experience with test case design, execution, and reporting .
• Proficiency in test management tools (TestRail, qTest, Zephyr, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).
• Basic understanding of SQL for database validation.
• Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman (preferred).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience testing in a CI/CD environment .
• Exposure to basic automation testing concepts (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
• Knowledge of performance or security testing tools is a plus.
• ISTQB Certification (preferred but not required).
