About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate/Corporate Paralegal to support our legal and compliance team. The ideal candidate will assist with legal documentation and provide legal support for real estate brokerage activities and corporate compliance to ensure seamless and efficient operations across the company. You’ll work closely with attorneys, brokers, agents, and business stakeholders to manage legal processes, maintain records, and provide critical support in regulatory and contractual matters.

Responsibilities

  • Real Estate Brokerage Operations Support:
  • Prepare, review, and manage legal documents and contracts related to real estate brokerage operations, including offer letters, independent contractor agreements, and NDAs.
  • Communicate with internal departments, brokers, agents, and external parties to resolve issues and facilitate efficient brokerage operations.
  • Support compliance efforts by monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring adherence to applicable laws across different markets.
  • Corporate Legal Support:
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining a range of commercial agreements, including operating agreements, IT and vendor contracts, licensing agreements, and employment-related documents.
  • Coordinate with legal department on insurance-related matters, including policy renewals and responding to insurance broker inquiries.
  • Conduct research on laws and regulations relevant to real estate and business operations.
  • Update company and brokerage contract templates as needed to reflect changes in laws, regulations, and company policies, ensuring consistency and legal compliance across all jurisdictions.
  • Administrative & Recordkeeping:
  • Organize and maintain legal files, records, and databases for quick access and reference.
  • Manage contract execution and ensure proper documentation of agreements.
  • Track deadlines and deliverables to ensure all legal obligations are met.
  • Research & Advisory Support:
  • Conduct due diligence and legal research to support legal department and company stakeholders.
  • Summarize findings and provide insights on legal matters affecting the company.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Departmental Support:
  • Partner with the marketing, operations, and finance teams to address legal needs and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
  • Act as a liaison between external counsel and internal teams as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certification from an ABA-approved program.
  • 5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in real estate, corporate law, or business law.
  • Intellectual property experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and contract management systems.
  • Ability to work from our SERHANT. House office on a hybrid schedule determined by Manager.
