Kelly Services is seeking a diligent, energetic and reliable direct hire night shift Security Guard/Officer to join our client’s organization in El Dorado Hills, CA. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be alert, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring that only authorized personnel enter the premises.
Directly responsible for the general administration of the Security console desk.
Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect any suspicious activities or security breaches.
Document and report any incidents, security breaches, or safety hazards to the appropriate authorities promptly.
Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, such as fire, medical, or security incidents, following established protocols.
Assist employees and visitors, answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries and directing them to the appropriate locations.
Issuing of temporary access cards and ID badges, the handling of medical, electrical and maintenance requests.
Monitor closed circuit television (CCTV) system, the access control system, event alarms, security records, key control, ID/access badge issue, physical security of the site, and equipment dispatch accountability.
Basic Computer skills, including familiarity with MS office programs.
Ability to communicate with other Security and Facility personnel.
