Location: 5 days a week onsite in Alexandria VA

Salary : $160000 - $170000 / year

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Power Apps Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, with a strong focus on Power Apps. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development:
    • Design, develop, and deploy custom Power Apps applications.
    • Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft products such as Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365.
    • Build complex Power Apps using Canvas, Model-Driven apps, and Portals.
    • Develop custom connectors and integrate third-party APIs and services.
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
    • Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed in the development process.
    • Stay updated with the latest features and updates in the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of Power Apps solutions.
    • Present solutions and provide technical guidance to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Maintenance and Support:
    • Monitor the performance of Power Apps solutions and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
    • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Power Apps applications.
    • Ensure that all solutions comply with security, privacy, and governance policies.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
    • Proven experience with Canvas and Model-Driven apps.
    • Strong experience in Microsoft Power Platform components (Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
    • Experience with SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and Azure services is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in JavaScript, C#, and SQL.
    • Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications:
    • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate) are preferred.
